Welcome To My Portfolio!

The idea of a personal portfolio to capture everything someone needs to know about you has always captivated me, but I could never start to build one because I always had the desire to make it perfect. I kept asking myself how I could create something that fully embodies me?

I didn't want to use some generic template that just slapped my resume onto something boring with no creativity involved.

Suddenly, I had the great idea to theme my entire portfolio based around the one thing that sparked my interest in technology in the first place: Minecraft.

The game has been a favorite of mine ever since I was a child. When I think of the word "nostalgia," I think of Minecraft. The whole reason I got into computers was because I liked installing Minecraft mods because it made me feel smart for "hacking into my computer's mainframe" (following YouTube tutorials) to install them.

Making my portfolio felt so much clearer to me when I had an actual goal in mind: to make it almost 1:1 with the Minecraft loading screen. Years ago this vision may have been near impossible with my programming skills, but thanks to the tools I have access to today, I was able to achieve my goals. These tools have allowed my imagination to run free and I worked with them to experiment, solve problems, and keep refining the details.

I hope to continue updating this site from the blog to the about me section and any new experiences or projects that I make.
